GlassesUSA - Need to update web page information
They don't show all the requirements necessary for ordering contacts vs. glasses; and it took 3 attempts from me to get this information out of customer service.
Does everyone know that you can use a prescription which is older than 1 year to order glasses but not contacts? PROBLEM!
I ordered contacts on June 20, 2018 and waited for the order to be processed for 3 business days (advertising says contact orders will be processed in 1 business day)... and was told to wait for an email confirmation before trying to track the shipment;
However, being pushy about my online orders I contacted customer service starting on Friday, June 22, 2018 asking what was the status and got basically told to go away without getting an answer. Same thing happened yesterday, Saturday June 23, 2018 ;-(
Tried again today and finally got someone who helped answer my question on status (but had to cancel my order because my prescription is older than 1 year). While it isn't glassesusa's issue on the rule about the age of the prescription, it IS their problem not to tell customers up front somehow - when dealing with a critical item like glasses or contacts any delays can be CRITICAL if a customer needs something to function in life (like being able to see to drive, etc.).
Reason of review: Order processing issue.
GlassesUSA Cons: Abhorent customer service, Website does not include prescription rules.
