I have purchased four pairs of prescription sunglasses from Glasses USA and was reasonably happy with the products until I became a casualty of their returns policy. Three weeks after receiving a pair of glasses, the frame just snapped while I was sitting still. This was obviously due to defective frames or lenses that were improperly fitted. I had the same model frame on an old prescription for years, and the old frame is just fine.
I sent emails to include photos to inquire about a replacement frame. Glasses USA said they will only provide 50% of the cost of the frames or $62.75 on a $251 pair of glasses. They said they do not cover normal wear and tear. They could not explain how sitting still while wearing sunglasses is normal wear and tear.
I spoke to Taylor Grant and offered to send in my lenses and have them put into a new frame of the same type. Although very polite, she was absolutely no help in resolving the issue.
I will not be using the 50% credit as there are many reputable places to order glasses at a reasonable price. Read the fine print on the 100% money back guarantee and 365-day warranty.

Glasses USA is now replacing my defective glasses at no additional cost. This complaint has been resolved to my satisfaction.
