20% RIPOFF

I waited almost a month to receive my prescription glasses and they where the wrong lenses. I did not want to wait again for them especially since they lie about the time that the delivery will take in their emails.

I did not carefully read the so called 100% satisfaction guarantee. The guarantee is for store credit only. You will not have your credit card credited for the full purchase price of your prescription glasses. There is a so called 20% restocking fee that will be subtracted from your original purchase price.

I will be paying for their mistake. RIPOFF, BUYER BEWARE!!!

Never received my glasses!

I ordered a pair of prescription glasses from GlassesUSA.com. I was notified my glasses were done and were now in the inspection process and in 2 to 3 days would be shipped and I would be notified of a tracking number. Eighteen days later, no word about my glasses, called customer service and no one knows where my glasses are. They keep saying someone will call me and tell me about my order, but they are liars! These guys have no honesty or integrity! they shouldn't be in business! I have talked numerous times to several customer service people and they all gave me the run-around! The last three said my order would be shipped in 2 days... never happened!

Have not recieve glasses after 30 days

Ordered glasses on 9/29/2015, received the wrong glasses which was returned and received by Glasses USA on 10/13/2015. To date I've not receive glasses and the only thing I have received is *** poor customer service and the run-around. If Glasses USA cannot provide the services I paid for I want a full refund. In an attempt to contact this firm I waited 78 minutes before some came online to say there is nothing she could do. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a company who expect the customers to tolerate their lack of professionalism. Something legal should be done to prevent this from continuing.

Not Real, Its a SCAM!

I ordered THREE weeks ago, STILL WAITING ON TRACKING #, (WEBSITE STATES 3 DAYS, THEN 7 SHIPPING,) I CALLED TWICE AND NO INFO GIVEN, I ASKED INFO ABOUT THE COMPANY, THEY DIDNT ANSWER.. I REALLY THINK I GOT SCAMMED!

I wasn't even supplied a tracking number and they wouldn't give me one... scammed! It's not BBB certified either, don't lose your money to these type of people, when I called (twice) the Rep's just gave me the run around and wouldn't tell me nothing about my order.

I asked info. about the company and they just told me it was in New York City, and no other info.

Don't get fooled by this website. It is no good at all.

They took money from my account before 5 minutes had passed. They could not make my glasses. That was 3/25/18. I am still waiting for them to tell me when they can return my money.

No one has answers . G.No one will tell you anything even if they do know something. I am now involving a Lawyer.

It's a headache you don't want or need. Don't do it.

GlassesUSA.com SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ON-LINE, NEW YORK -- I purchased a pair of glasses from GlassesUSA.com that seemed fine until I wore them. I got a good deal for Progressive frameless $168.00. Unfortunately the glasses caused me to be dizzy and off balance and I couldn't focus. They were horrible. I sent an email request to GlassesUSA.com to return them and received template responses "One of our return agents will get back to you within 2-3 business days". Yet GlassesUSA.com says at there website that they have a 14 day return policy.

After waiting a week with no response from GlassesUSA.com returns dept. I returned the glasses - and a week later still no refund or response. CRAZY. This company - GlassesUSA.com is a ripoff! They are crooks. RUN RUN RUN do not buy your glasses because if you have a problem they will not respond - they will not give you a refund. DO NOT BUY GLASSES FROM GLASSESUSA.COM. RUN

Groupon Scam

I just recently bought a Groupon voucher worth $100 for credit towards buying glasses from GlassesUSA, however when I tried to redeem the voucher that I purchased, the GlassesUSA website said that my code is not valid. I have tried to contact GlassesUSA through the phone numerous times to see what is wrong with my code but this has all been to no avail. I am a hardworking citizen and after googling reviews for this company, I came across this page and now I am furious that I basically just threw away my hard earned money, but most importantly I am disappointed in Groupon for endorsing such a scam.

Is it possible that your poor eyesight may have been the cause of a transposition error or maybe another linguistic blunder that caused this issue? You have already established a precedent for having deficient eyesight by your own admission, so the court of public opinion must now review all options.

Since I have 10/15 uncorrected vision, I have decided to impart to you some practical advice.

1. Contact Groupon. They were the issuer of the code and will likely be able to pinpoint precisely where you fouled things up.

Fail to "do the right thing"

When I was growing up I learned that it is always best to “do the right thing” and, if you live by that rule you will be healthy, happy, and prosperously. Later, in life, I learned that the same was true in business. Companies that “do the right thing” research and manufacturer the best products, have the happiest employees, and make the most money. Through my interaction with GlassesUSA, I’ve learned that you don’t follow that philosophy. You clearly state that you are customer driven yet; in my case you have fallen short. GlassesUSA have refused: 1. To extend the 50% discount (on premium frames) when it has done so for the past 3 years. 2. To honor the word of a customer service representative who promised a replacement pair of glasses worth the same value. 3. To honor the pledge to meet (and beat) the price of a competitor’s frames(because in the dark recesses of you legalese it is state that you don’t do that on premium frame). The other issue that I find embarrassing is that the three founders – Jewish men living in Israel – act in such a shortsighted manner. I am offended that you would treat another Jewish person, such as myself, with such little respect. I wonder what this is teaching your employees, family, and friends. More importantly, for the three of you, what impact your behavior will has on your company. Best, Eric Kastriner

I was about to make a purchase at GlassesUSA, but their online "recommendation" insisted me to purchase the anti-reflective which was $29 at the time. When I opted for the cheapest, I was prompted with their option of adding the anti-reflective for just $9 more........hmmm, catchy. That was when I closed the browser and shopped at Zenni instead. Plus, at least Zenni is backed by BBB; whereas GlassesUSA isn't a BBB member. So, shop at your own risk. Even with their Welcome50 coupon code, I was paying more than Zenni. Additionally, the Welcome50 and many other coupon codes do not work if you buy from their low-end frames. Just be extra cautious if you choose to shop from GlassesUSA.

Worst Customer experience ever

Bad, bad company to deal with in case your ordered comes incorrectly. Also think issue with website where it detaults to non-script even if you input a script. Got wrong glasses, charged more. Only want to send back and money back. 3 weeks, multiple calls, 3 emails and still no ETA to even send me a return label so I get get refund and be gone. I have never had such a bad customer service experience. I do not recommend that you risk getting the wrong order, not worth it. Hung up once manager implied my fault for wrong order.

These guys suck!

Ordered 2 pairs of glasses.A month later they turn up with wrong prescription.Sent them back.Another month has passed with multiple emails ignored and still no glasses or refund. If I wasn't in NZ I would visit these guys in person and let the thieving useless *** know exactly what I think of them. Do business with them at your peril. All your buying is frustration. There is no customer service, you mean nothing to them. They take your cash,ship you *** then ignore you. Do yourself a favour and buy from your local eyewear store as your asking for trouble dealing with these turds.

Do NOT buy glasses from Glasses USA. You will need much more than a good sense of humor as they are basically incompetent. When I looked back to see that they had good reviews, I now notice I was on the Glasses USA website. It seems impossible to me you could ever have a good experience with these people. I could go on and on, but hopefully you get the point. Use ANY other on line R/X service for your glasses, but do NOT use Glasses USA. BTW, they are not in the USA, but Israel. Another "fake-out" they seem to be famous for.

Deceptive and slow

I'm disappointed with GLassesUSA.

I don't like their deceptive wording regarding "free" returns that have a 20% Restocking fee.

I don't like that I still haven't gotten my order. My order was placed a month ago. It still hasn't even shipped.

I don't like that I had to use a coupon code to get a decent price. Do use a code if you buy from GlassesUSA. Google it for current one. Or just use Warby Parker for a decent price all the time. Unfortunately Warby Parker needs to broaden their selection. Ugh. Boring.

I'll post again if the problem gets worse or if the quality is unacceptable. Wuh wuh so much for a quick fun pair of glasses with my new prescription... this is taking waaaay longer than Warby Parker did and they have a genuine free return policy.

When I asked for a refund, they tried to sell me more pairs of glasses. They say free shipping and returns--NOPE. I paid to return my glasses. They charged me a 20% restocking fee! Where did I see that? Was it on a web page that I had to click three different buttons to get to? Gee, did they have to walk 20 feet to restock my glasses. YOU KNOW how a pair of glasses takes up as much space as a sofa. There is nothing else to say. I won't use them again. Ever. Ever. Ever. Ever. Ever. Ever.
